Hiya Friends, It’s December and, in the spirit of the season, I found out today that Mary—a pal in my tap class—spells her name like this: Merry! “I’m a child of the ‘60s,” she explained. I took that to mean her parents were flower power hippie types, but Merry, an elfin brunette with a warm smile and very cheerful demeanor, sure suits the name.
I love Myrna Loy! I feel like I need to go watch a Thin Man movie now. :) I didn't realize she was in The Best Years of Our Lives, though. One of my pod guests a few months ago gave us some book and movie recommendations, and that was one of them. I'll have to bump it up!
Oohhh I love me a Thin Man movie and only wish they had made more together! Myrna was clearly ahead of her time.
I also love my holiday card tradition although have surrounded to Avery labels the last few years. I wish more folks still sent them because I love receiving them (hint, hint - for anyone listening out there!).
