Oh, I love Lewis!! I always liked it better than the original series, even. Fox has basically founded a very right-wing political party in the UK and is super vocal about his various and sundry prejudices. (Someone should remind him that his father's role in Remains of the Day was HISTORICAL FICTION and not something to emulate.)
Yeah…the running joke among my Lewis-loving friends is that the only thing we can watch him in now is the episode of Foyle’s War he did where, it turns out, he was essentially playing himself. 🤦🏻♀️
BTW, on a cheerier note, can we just have a little love for Roger Allam? I’m still not over him being the original Javert in Les Mis which I discovered several years into Endeavour (and means I was listening to him in high school/undergrad and had no idea).
